True Torment content is spread throughout the base game, so how quickly you’ll find everything depends wholly on your abilities, Penitent One!
Do I need to start a new game?
You do not need to start a new game to experience the Mea Culpa Expansion or the New Game Plus Update. However, players are free to start a new run or New Game Plus and experience all the new additions alongside The Penitent One’s existing journey. The choice is yours.
How does True Torment (New Game Plus) work?
We're keeping this as a surprise, but True Torment (also known as New Game Plus) is a customizable and tiered experience with unlockable rewards. Once your penance is over, you will be able to upgrade it and access this new mode.
