Large-scale deckbuilding battle royale WARCANA prepares to debut next week at Gamescom, as developer 1000 Orks secures a publishing partnership with Team17 Digital
1000 Orks, and Team17 Digital have today announced a partnership that will see the award-winning games label publish the German studio’s debut title, WARCANA (previously Legion Souls). Set for release on PC during the first half of 2024, WARCANA fuses battle royale mechanics with base defence and deck building gameplay. Taking the roles of mighty arcane magicians, up to 30 players compete on the battlefield and control massive hordes of fantasy armies in a desperate bid to overcome each other’s defences and secure victory.
Early access to WARCANA is available during Gamescom, where the 1000 Orks team will be on hand in Indie Arena Booth, Hall 10.2, Booth F010g - E019g 32c to showcase the game. In addition to early hands-on opportunities with the game, interviews are now available to book.
